Request Specific Agency Workers

Network’s VMS now offers an industry-leading approach to worker requests in frontline staffing. Unlike traditional vendor management systems that rely on manual notes or text fields, we've introduced an automation that lets hiring managers specifically request previous high-performing workers through a structured dropdown interface. This helps maintain consistency in temporary staffing while giving managers the flexibility to expand their talent pool if preferred workers are unavailable

Through the ability to pre-identify top talent, hiring managers can achieve continuity and greater consistency in assigning repeat workers to open shifts.

What's new:

  • Direct selection of previously worked with and highly-rated workers
  • Automated worker-agency matching system
  • Initial exclusive booking requests for preferred workers
  • Flexible expansion to wider talent pool if needed
  • Integration with existing agency prioritization feature
New ability to: Maintain existing agency preferences while selecting specific workers, seamlessly expand search if preferred workers are unavailable, and track request status and responses automatically.

Cancellation Policy Enforcement

Network VMS has added automated cancellation policy management to help organizations enforce contracted cancellation terms with their staffing and agency vendors. This feature enables admins and unit managers to define multiple cancellation policies per agency based on different time periods and worker populations, with fees calculated as a percentage of the original booking size. Network automatically enforces these contracted terms while providing clear visibility of financial impact before any changes are made to assigned shifts.

Previously, cancellation terms existed in contracts but required manual tracking and calculation. Now, these policies are configured directly in the platform, ensuring consistent enforcement and automated fee calculations. Unit managers receive clear warnings about financial implications before cancellation decisions, preventing unexpected costs.

System admins can configure automated fee calculations that trigger when talent is removed from already-assigned shifts – whether through job cancellations, booking removals, or shift reductions. Fees are automatically calculated based on scheduled hours, bill rates, and unpaid breaks, with all charges seamlessly integrated into consolidated invoicing.

What's new:

  • Configure multiple time periods and worker populations per agency
  • Automated percentage-based fee calculations
  • Clear preview of financial impact before cancellations
  • Automatic inclusion of fees in agency invoicing
  • Real-time notifications of policy updates
Before removing assigned talent from shifts, managers will receive a 'warning' notification to see exactly how cancellation fees apply. Whether you're canceling an entire job, removing a booking, or reducing shifts, Dash shows you the precise fee calculation before you confirm any changes. All fees are automatically documented in job details and booking summaries for easy reference.

District-Level Markup Control

Network VMS has added district-level and position-specific markup configuration to give organizations more granular control over their vendor pricing. In addition to posting contract-level rates, this enhancement provides the flexibility to easily manage markup rates across different agencies, locations and roles.

What's new:

  • Configure markup rates at district and position levels through a simple UI
  • Agencies can review and approve district-level changes through automated workflow
  • Set position-specific markup options that override district defaults
  • Maintain independent position-level markups when district rates change
This enhanced flexibility is especially valuable for organizations managing multiple staffing vendors across different locations – from warehouses to retail locations to distribution centers.
